CBIC defers printing of QR code on B2C invoices till July 1

CBIC had past waived the magnitude of punishment payable by a registered idiosyncratic for non-compliance with provisions of dynamic QR codification successful the play till March 31, 2021. Lastly, present the day has been deferred till June 30, 2021. 

The authorities has postponed the request of printing dynamic QR codes connected B2C (business-to-consumer) invoices generated by businesses for 3 months till July 1. This QR codification helps successful verifying the details of the digitally signed e-invoice of consumers.

In its latest notification, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) had waived the magnitude of punishment payable by a registered idiosyncratic for non-compliance of provisions of dynamic QR codification successful B2C invoices till June 30, 2021, taxable to the information that businesses comply with the provisions from July 1, 2021.

Previously, CBIC had delayed the day for implementation of QR codification to October 1, 2020, and further deferred QR codification successful B2C invoices to December 1, 2020.
