PUNE: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Pune branch has elected CA Sameer Ladda as its chairman and CA Kashinath Pathare as its vice president. Pathare will also be a chairman for Western India Chartered Accountants Students Association (WICASA) Pune. A new executive committee has been announced for the year 2021-2022. Newly elected chairman CA Sameer Ladha took over charge from the deposed chariman CA Abhishek Dhamne. Central Council Member CA Chandrasekhar Chitale, Regional Council member CA Anand Jakhotia, CA Rita Chitale were present on the occasion.
CA Abhishek Dhamne informed about the work done during the last year as well as the schemes implemented. Expressed gratitude to all colleagues and staff. On behalf of the branch as well as senior office bearers congratulated Ladda and Pathare. ICAI Pune Branch was started in 1962. Today, the Pune branch has more than 10,000 members and more than 22,000 students are affiliated to the Pune branch. At ICAI Bhavan, Bibwewadi, a state-of-the-art facility organizes a number of activities for chartered accountants throughout the year.
CA Sameer Ladda said, “In the last three years, the Pune branch has received 12 awards in the mega category. The aim is not to win the award, but to symbolize the good work of the Pune branch. Efforts will be made to continue the work of this branch. Last year, the Pune branch worked on ‘3I’ infrastructure (infrastructure), Image (image), Intellectual (intellectual). This year, E-Square will work on the concepts of Ethics, Expansion, E-Governance & Expertise. Thank you to all the Chartered Accountants for entrusting me with the responsibility of chairing the largest branch in India.”
